حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَمْسٌ مِنْ الْفِطْرَةِ الْخِتَانُ وَالِاسْتِحْدَادُ وَنَتْفُ الْإِبْطِ وَتَقْلِيمُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Ma'mar told us: al-Zuhri informed us, from Ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Five things are part of the natural disposition (fitrah): circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpit hair, trimming the nails, and clipping the mustache."
