قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَرَأَ لَهُمْ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَسَجَدَ فِيهَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِيهَا.
English Translation
He said: I read to 'Abd al-Rahman: Malik, from 'Abdullah ibn Yazid, freedman of al-Aswad ibn Sufyan, from Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, that Abu Hurayrah recited to them "When the sky is split asunder" and prostrated during it. When he finished, he informed them that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had prostrated during it.
