English Translation
'Abd al-Rahman told us: Zuhayr told us, from al-'Ala', from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "If the believer knew what punishment there is with Allah, Mighty and Sublime, none would hope for Paradise; and if the disbeliever knew what mercy there is with Allah, none would despair of Paradise. Allah created a hundred parts of mercy and placed one of them among His creation, by which they show mercy to one another, while with Allah remain ninety-nine parts of mercy."
