حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ شِسْعُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلَا يَمْشِ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Sulayman, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: "If the strap of one of your sandals breaks, let him not walk in a single sandal."
