حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ ذَكْوَانَ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ التَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَالتَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Sulayman, from Dhakwan, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), that he said: "Clapping is for women, and glorifying Allah is for men."
