حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا يَخَافُ الَّذِي يَرْفَعُ رَأْسَهُ قَبْلَ الْإِمَامِ أَنْ يُحَوَّلَ رَأْسُهُ رَأْسَ حِمَارٍ.
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Does the one who raises his head before the imam not fear that his head might be turned into the head of a donkey?'
