حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنِ بَشِيرِ بْنِ نَهِيكٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah and Hajjaj narrated to us — Hajjaj said: Shu'bah narrated to me — from Qatadah, from al-Nadr ibn Anas, from Bashir ibn Nahik, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'A life-grant ('umra) is permissible [and belongs permanently to the one given it].'
