حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ وَسَأَلَ الْأَغَرَّ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَحَدَّثَ الْأَغَرُّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنْ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا الْكَعْبَةَ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Sa'd ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Salamah, and he asked al-Aghar about this hadith, so al-Aghar narrated that he heard Abu Hurayrah say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except the Ka'bah.'
