حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِذَا رَجَعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ يَجِدُ ثَلَاثَ خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامٍ سِمَانٍ فَثَلَاثُ آيَاتٍ يَقْرَأُ بِهِنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ ثَلَاثِ خَلِفَاتٍ عِظَامٍ سِمَانٍ إِنَّ أَثْقَلَ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْمُنَافِقِينَ صَلَاةُ الْعِشَاءِ وَالْفَجْرِ وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُونَ مَا فِيهِمَا لَأَتَوْهُمَا وَلَوْ حَبْوًا.
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, he said: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Would one of you like it, if he returned to his family, to find three large, fat she-camels? Yet three verses which one of you recites in his prayer are better for him than three large, fat she-camels. Indeed, the heaviest prayers upon the hypocrites are the night prayer and the dawn prayer; and if they knew what is in them, they would come to them even if they had to crawl."
