حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ أَبِي يَعْلَى، عَنْ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَمَرَ الْمِقْدَادَ فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمَذْيِ فَقَالَ يَتَوَضَّأُ.
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn al-Hanafiyyah that `Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him) told al-Miqdad to ask the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about madhi and he said: `Let him do wudoo`.`
