English Translation

Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us: Shu'bah told us, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The example of the one who strives in the way of God is like the one who continually stands in prayer without flagging, and like the one who continually fasts without breaking his fast, until the one who strives in the way of God, Mighty and Majestic, returns."
