حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا أَذِنَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِشَيْءٍ كَإِذْنِهِ لِنَبِيٍّ يَتَغَنَّى بِالْقُرْآنِ يَجْهَرُ بِهِ.
English Translation
Yazid told us: Muhammad ibn Amr informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has not given permission for anything as He has given permission for a prophet to chant the Qur'an melodiously, reciting it aloud."
