حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ بُرْقَانَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي وَأَنَا مَعَهُ إِذَا دَعَانِي.
English Translation
Waki' told us, he said: Ja'far ibn Burqan told us, from Yazid ibn al-Asamm, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: 'I am as My servant thinks of Me, and I am with him when he calls upon Me.'"
