حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَصُمْ الْمَرْأَةُ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا وَزَوْجُهَا شَاهِدٌ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ إِلَّا رَمَضَانَ.
English Translation
Waki' and Abd al-Rahman, from Sufyan, from Abu al-Zinad, from Musa ibn Abi Uthman, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A woman must not fast a single day while her husband is present except with his permission." Waki' said: "Except in Ramadan."
