حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ الزُّرَقِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَسُبُّوا الرِّيحَ فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ بِالرَّحْمَةِ وَالْعَذَابِ وَلَكِنْ سَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا وَتَعَوَّذُوا مِنْ شَرِّهَا.
English Translation
Yahya narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, who said: al-Zuhri narrated to me, who said: Thabit al-Zuraqi narrated to me, who said: I heard Abu Hurairah say: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not curse the wind, for it brings mercy and punishment. Rather, ask Allah for its good and seek refuge from its evil."
