English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The likeness of the five daily prayers is that of a flowing, abundant river at the door of one of you, in which he bathes five times a day." Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Abdullah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn Usamah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), similarly: 'How much filth would that leave?'
