حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا لِعَبْدِي الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدِي جَزَاءٌ إِذَا قَبَضْتُ صَفِيَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ احْتَسَبَهُ إِلَّا الْجَنَّةُ.
English Translation
Qutaybah narrated to us, Ya'qub ibn Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Amr ibn Abi Amr, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah the Almighty says: 'My believing servant has no reward with Me, when I take his beloved one from among the people of this world and he bears it with patience, except Paradise.'"
