حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ وَهُمْ يَتَوَضَّئُونَ فِي الْمَطْهَرَةِ فَيَقُولُ لَهُمْ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ أَسْبِغُوا الْوُضُوءَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنْ النَّارِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad who said: Abu Hurayrah used to come to the people while they were performing ablution at the washing place and say to them: "Perfect your ablution, perfect your ablution, for I heard Abu al-Qasim say: 'Woe to the heels from the Fire.'"
