حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الصِّيَامُ جُنَّةٌ وَحِصْنٌ حَصِينٌ مِنْ النَّارِ.
English Translation
'Attab narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, he said: Abu Yunus narrated to me, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "Fasting is a shield and a strong fortress against the Fire."
