English Translation
Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Za'idah narrated to us, from Muhammad - meaning Ibn 'Amr - from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: "Were it not that I would burden my Ummah - or the believers - I would have ordered them to use the siwak (tooth-stick) at every prayer." 'Abdah, who is Ibn Sulayman, narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn 'Amr narrated to us and mentioned the same with his chain.
