English Translation
Abu Ahmad narrated to us, he said: Kathir ibn Zayd narrated to us, from al-Walid ibn Rabah, from Abu Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Do not hate one another, do not envy one another, do not artificially inflate prices, do not turn your backs on one another, and be servants of Allah as brothers. A resident should not sell on behalf of a desert dweller, and do not intercept caravans for trade. Whoever buys a sheep and finds it with its udder tied (to give a false impression of more milk), let him return it along with a sa' of dates. None of you should bid over the bidding of his brother, nor propose marriage over the proposal of his brother, and a woman should not ask for the divorce of her sister (co-wife) in order to overturn her plate, for her sustenance is upon Allah the Almighty."
