حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَبِّئْنِي بِأَحَقِّ النَّاسِ مِنِّي صُحْبَةً فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَاللَّهِ لَتُنَبَّأَنَّ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ أُمُّكَ قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ ثُمَّ أُمُّكَ قَالَ ثُمَّ مَنْ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَبُوكَ.
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah narrated that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, tell me who has the most right to my good companionship. He said: "Yes, by Allah, you shall be told. Your mother." He said: Then who? He said: "Then your mother." He said: Then who? He said: "Then your father."
