حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يُونُسَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُكْثِرُونَ هُمْ الْأَقَلُّونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا مَنْ قَالَ بِالْمَالِ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا قَالَ يَحْيَى وَقَلِيلٌ مَا هُمْ قَالَ حَسَنٌ وَأَشَارَ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ.
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Those with the most wealth will be the ones with the least (reward) on the Day of Resurrection, except those who spend their wealth like this and this and this" - and Yahya said: "and they are few" - and Hasan said: and he gestured in front of him, to his right, to his left, and behind him.
