حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَرَى رَبَّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ هَلْ تَرَوْنَ الشَّمْسَ بِنِصْفِ النَّهَارِ لَيْسَ فِي السَّمَاءِ سَحَابَةٌ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ هَلْ تَرَوْنَ الْقَمَرَ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ لَيْسَ فِي السَّمَاءِ سَحَابَةٌ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَرَوُنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَلَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِ كَمَا لَا تُضَارُّونَ فِي رُؤْيَتِهِمَا.
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah said: They asked: O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, on the Day of Resurrection? He said: "Do you see the sun at midday when there is no cloud in the sky?" They said: Yes. He said: "Do you see the moon on the night of the full moon when there is no cloud in the sky?" They said: Yes. He said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you will surely see Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and you will not be harmed in seeing Him just as you are not harmed in seeing either of them."
