Arabic (Original)
وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا الطِّيَرَةُ قَالَ لَا طَائِرَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتِ وَقَالَ خَيْرُ الْفَأْلِ الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ.
English Translation
With the same chain, it was asked: O Messenger of Allah, what is superstition (tiyarah)? He said: "There is no omen" - three times. And he said: "The best form of fal (good omen) is a good word."
