حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَعَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَسْرِقُ حِينَ يَسْرِقُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَزْنِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ حِينَ يَشْرَبُهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَغُلُّ حِينَ يَغُلُّ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَنْتَهِبُ حِينَ يَنْتَهِبُ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَقَالَ عَطَاءٌ وَلَا يَنْتَهِبُ نُهْبَةً ذَاتَ شَرَفٍ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ قَالَ بَهْزٌ فَقِيلَ لَهُ قَالَ إِنَّهُ يُنْتَزَعُ مِنْهُ الْإِيمَانُ فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ قَتَادَةُ وَفِي حَدِيثِ عَطَاءٍ نُهْبَةً ذَاتَ شَرَفٍ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ.
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A thief does not steal while he is a believer, and a fornicator does not commit fornication while he is a believer, and a drinker does not drink wine while he is a believer, and one does not commit fraud while he is a believer, and a plunderer does not plunder while he is a believer." 'Ata' added: "Nor does he plunder a valuable plunder while he is a believer." Bahz said: It was said to him, and he said: "Faith is stripped from him, and if he repents, Allah will accept his repentance."
