حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنٌ أَبُو عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ السَّمَّانِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَإِذَا قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ قَالَ لَهُ أَخُوهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ فَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ فَلْيَقُلْ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When one of you sneezes, let him say: 'Al-hamdu lillah (Praise be to Allah).' When he says 'Al-hamdu lillah,' his brother should say to him: 'Yarhamuk Allah (May Allah have mercy on you).' When it is said to him 'Yarhamuk Allah,' let him say: 'Yahdikum Allah wa yuslih balakum (May Allah guide you and rectify your condition).'"
