حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَيْرَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ وَرْدَانَ قَالَ أَبُو خَيْرَةَ لَا أَعْلَمُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ مِنْ ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي فَلَا يَدْخُلْ الْحَمَّامَ إِلَّا بِمِئْزَرٍ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ مِنْ إِنَاثِ أُمَّتِي فَلَا تَدْخُلْ الْحَمَّامَ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever among the males of my nation believes in Allah and the Last Day should not enter the bathhouse except wearing a waist-wrap. And whoever among the females of my nation believes in Allah and the Last Day should not enter the bathhouse at all.'
