English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'When one of you stands in prayer, he should not spit in front of him, for he is conversing privately with Allah as long as he is in his place of prayer. Nor should he spit to his right, for there is an angel on his right. Rather, let him spit to his left or under his foot and bury it.'
