حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ إِذَا شَهِدَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعِي كَانَ لَهُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ شَاةٍ سَمِينَةٍ أَوْ شَاتَيْنِ لَفَعَلَ فَمَا يُصِيبُ مِنْ الْأَجْرِ أَفْضَلُ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When the people of Paradise enter Paradise and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, death will be brought in the form of a ram. It will be placed between Paradise and the Fire and slaughtered. Then it will be proclaimed: O people of Paradise, no more death! O people of the Fire, no more death! The people of Paradise will be filled with even more joy, and the people of the Fire will be filled with even more grief.'
