English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'When one of you sleeps, the Shaytan ties three knots at the back of his head. On each knot he writes: You have a long night, so sleep. If the person wakes and remembers Allah, a knot is untied. If he performs ablution, another knot is untied. If he prays, all three knots are untied, and he becomes energetic and cheerful. Otherwise, he becomes sluggish and ill-tempered.'
