حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُمْطَرَ النَّاسُ مَطَرًا لَا تُكِنُّ مِنْهُ بُيُوتُ الْمَدَرِ وَلَا تُكِنُّ مِنْهُ إِلَّا بُيُوتُ الشَّعَرِ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Leave me as long as I leave you. Those who were before you were destroyed by their excessive questioning and their disagreeing with their prophets. If I forbid you from something, avoid it. If I command you to do something, do as much of it as you can.'
