حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُقْبَضُ الْعِلْمُ وَيَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ وَيَكْثُرُ الْهَرْجُ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْهَرْجُ قَالَ الْقَتْلُ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever is pleased that Allah answers his supplication during hardships and adversity, let him increase his supplication in times of ease.'
