English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'There are three types of people whom Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He look at them or purify them, and they will have a painful punishment: a man who has excess water in the desert and withholds it from a traveler, a man who swears by something after Asr prayer to sell his goods and the buyer believes him even though it is not as he said, and a man who pledges allegiance to a leader only for worldly gain — if the leader gives him, he fulfills his pledge, and if the leader does not give him, he does not fulfill it.'
