حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ بِالصُّرَعَةِ وَلَكِنَّ الشَّدِيدَ الَّذِي يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الْغَضَبِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman told us, Malik told us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The strong one is not the one who overcomes others by wrestling; rather, the strong one is the one who controls himself when angry."
