حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجُهَيْمِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرُؤُ الْقَيْسِ صَاحِبُ لِوَاءِ الشُّعَرَاءِ إِلَى النَّارِ.
English Translation
Hushaym told us: Abu al-Juhaym al-Wasiti told us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Imru' al-Qays is the standard-bearer of the poets to the Fire.
