حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَدَّادٌ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ الرَّاسِبِيُّ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْوَازِعِ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ جَلَسُوا مَجْلِسًا لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِيهِ إِلَّا رَأَوْهُ حَسْرَةً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.
English Translation
Abu Sa'id, the freedman of Banu Hashim, told us: Shaddad Abu Talhah al-Rasibi told us: I heard Abu al-Wazi Jabir ibn Amr narrating from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: No people sit in a gathering without remembering Allah in it, but they will see it as a cause of regret on the Day of Resurrection.
