حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ عَامِرٍ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ubayd told us: Zakariyya told us, from Amir: I heard Abdullah ibn Amr: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the emigrant is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.
