حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ بْن أَحْمَد وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ فَرَأَى خَيْرًا مِنْهَا فَلْيَأْتِ الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ وَلْيُكَفِّرْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ.
English Translation
Al-Hakam ibn Musa narrated to us - Abdullah ibn Ahmad said: And I heard it from al-Hakam ibn Musa - Muslim ibn Khalid narrated from Hisham ibn Urwah from his father from Abdullah ibn Amr who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever swears an oath and then sees something better than it should do what is better and expiate for his oath."
