حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ سَمِعْتُ الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى أَنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ أَحَقُّ بِوَلَدِهَا مَا لَمْ تَزَوَّجْ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: I heard al-Muthanna ibn al-Sabbah saying: Amr ibn Shu'ayb informed me from his father from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As that the Prophet (peace be upon him) ruled that the mother has more right to her child as long as she has not remarried.
