حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي ثُمَامَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُوضَعُ الرَّحِمُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَهَا حُجْنَةٌ كَحُجْنَةِ الْمِغْزَلِ تَكَلَّمُ بِلِسَانٍ طَلْقٍ ذَلْقٍ فَتَصِلُ مَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَتَقْطَعُ مَنْ قَطَعَهَا وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ الْمِغْزَلُ وَقَالَ بِأَلْسِنَةٍ لَهَا.
English Translation
Bahz and Affan said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated, Qatadah informed us from Abu Thamamah al-Thaqafi from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The womb will be placed on the Day of Resurrection, having a curve like the curve of a spindle. It will speak with an eloquent and sharp tongue, connecting whoever maintained it and cutting off whoever severed it." Affan said: "the spindle" and said: "with tongues it has."
