حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَفَ عِنْدَ الْجَمْرَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ أَطْوَلَ مِمَّا وَقَفَ عِنْدَ الْجَمْرَةِ الْأُولَى ثُمَّ أَتَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ فَرَمَاهَا وَلَمْ يَقِفْ عِنْدَهَا.
English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us: al-Mas'udi narrated from Amr ibn Murrah from Abdullah ibn al-Harith from Zuhayr from Abdullah ibn Amr from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: The best companion in the sight of Allah is the best to his companion, and the best neighbor in the sight of Allah is the best to his neighbor.
