English Translation
Ishaq ibn Yusuf al-Azraq narrated to us: Sufyan al-Thawri narrated from Alqamah ibn Marthad from al-Qasim, meaning Ibn Mukhaymirah, from Abdullah ibn Amr from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: No person is afflicted with a trial in his body except that Allah the Almighty commands the angels who guard him, saying: Record for My servant every day and night the good deeds he used to perform while he was in My bonds (of illness).
