حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْحَضْرَمِيُّ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ اسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ مَهْزُولٍ وَكَانَتْ تُسَافِحُ وَتَشْتَرِطُ لَهُ أَنْ تُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ ذَكَرَ لَهُ أَمْرَهَا قَالَ فَقَرَأَ عَلَيْهِ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ { الزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنْكِحُهَا إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوْ مُشْرِكٌ }.
English Translation
Arim narrated to us: Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated, my father said: al-Hadrami narrated from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad from Abdullah ibn Amr that a Muslim man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for permission to marry a woman called Umm Mahzul, who used to commit fornication and stipulated that she would spend on him. He asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) for permission, or mentioned her matter to him. The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) recited to him: 'The fornicatress — none marries her except a fornicator or a polytheist.'
