حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ مَعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ مُسْتَنِدٌ إِلَى حُجْرَةِ عَائِشَةَ وَأُنَاسٌ يُصَلُّونَ الضُّحَى فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ قَالَ بِدْعَةٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ عُرْوَةُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كَمْ اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَرْبَعًا إِحْدَاهُنَّ فِي رَجَبٍ قَالَ وَسَمِعْنَا اسْتِنَانَ عَائِشَةَ فِي الْحُجْرَةِ فَقَالَ لَهَا عُرْوَةُ إِنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْتَمَرَ أَرْبَعًا إِحْدَاهُنَّ فِي رَجَبٍ فَقَالَتْ يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا اعْتَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مَعَهُ وَمَا اعْتَمَرَ فِي رَجَبٍ قَطُّ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us: Mufaddal narrated from Mansur from Mujahid who said: I entered the mosque with Urwah ibn al-Zubayr, and there was Ibn Umar leaning against the chamber of Aisha while some people were praying the Duha prayer. Urwah said to him: O Abu Abd al-Rahman, what is this prayer? He said: An innovation. Urwah said: O Abu Abd al-Rahman, how many Umrahs did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) perform? He said: Four, one of them in Rajab. He said: We heard Aisha brushing her teeth in the chamber. Urwah said to her: Abu Abd al-Rahman claims that the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed four Umrahs, one of them in Rajab. She said: May Allah have mercy on Abu Abd al-Rahman. The Prophet (peace be upon him) never performed Umrah except that he was with him, and he never performed Umrah in Rajab.
