English Translation
Abdus-Samad told us, Hammam told us, Nafi' told us, from Ibn Umar, that Aishah negotiated to buy Barirah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from prayer, and she said: They refused to sell her except on condition that they stipulate the right of inheritance for themselves. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The right of inheritance belongs to the one who frees the slave.
