حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِزَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ أَنْ تُؤَدَّى قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى وَقَالَ مَرَّةً إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
Abdur-Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj informed us: Musa ibn Uqbah informed me, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, that he related that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded that the zakat of Fitr be given before the people go out to the place of prayer - and he said once: before the prayer.
