English Translation
Abdur-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr told us, they said: Ibn Jurayj told us: Nafi' informed me, from Ibn Umar, that he informed him from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) - or from Umar; Nafi' was certain that the speaker was one of the two, but I think it was rather from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) - who said: None of you should wrap himself in his garment during prayer as the Jews wrap themselves; rather let him drape it over his shoulder. Whoever has two garments, let him wear one as a lower wrap and drape the other over his shoulders, and whoever has only one garment, let him wrap it around himself, then pray.
