حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى أَنَّ الْوَلَاءَ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ.
English Translation
Abdur-Razzaq told us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, saying: Sulayman ibn Musa, Nafi' told us, from Abdullah ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled that the right of inheritance from a freed slave (al-wala') belongs to the one who freed him.
