حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ مُهَاجِرٍ الشَّامِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شُهْرَةٍ أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ شَرِيكٌ وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ مُهَاجِرًا وَجَالَسْتُهُ.
English Translation
Hajjaj told us; Sharik told us, from Uthman ibn Abi Zur'ah, from Muhajir al-Shami, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever wears a garment of notoriety, Allah, blessed and exalted, will clothe him with a garment of humiliation on the Day of Resurrection." Sharik said: "And I saw Muhajir and sat with him."
